MYBSA wishes to provide a safe and healthy environment in which baseball and softball players will develop both sport and life skills that will establish a foundation for the athlete and person they are today and will become tomorrow.  This will be accomplished through concentrated efforts on athletic development (both technical and tactical), and by teaching and modeling effective communication, trust in one another, respect for ourselves, respect for one another and respect for the game.  MYBSA players, coaches, and volunteers will work and compete with courage and enthusiasm and win or lose they will do so with class and pride, all the while placing the highest regard on sportsmanship and individual and team development.
